Measurement, Metrology & Calibration Group

The Measurement, Metrology & Calibration Group (MMCG) is a new BTC Group formed in 2011 as a forum for discussion on measurement systems, and on the performance of manufacturer's equipment. 

The group meets twice yearly to share advice on measurement and calibration techniques, measurment uncertainty calculations and cureent measurement practice. It investigates specific measurement problems and solutions and will organise measurement Round Robin if required. recent subjects under discussion have been Flow Measurement problems including calibration of fuel measurement systems, Temperature Measurement, Smoke and Blow-by Meters.
